A comedy adventure film made by the Coen Brothers and starring George Clooney. The film tells the story of a trio of escaped convicts and is set in Mississippi during the Great Depression. The soundtrack won a Grammy for the Album of the Year for the American roots soundtrack.

Angaston Show
Saturday 28 –Sunday 1 March 2009
If there was one word to describe the Angaston Show it would be traditional. It offers all the favourites of country shows – with one of the largest horse jumping competitions in the state, log chopping, sheep shearing, yard dog competitions, Tractor Pull, and an Exhibition Pavilion filled with local produce, jewellery, crafts and the Agricultural Bureau display. If that isn‘t enough, the Angaston show will also be holding a swap meet on the Sunday morning. For the children there will be an Animal Petting Zoo, chicken hatchery, a Magician, a Musical Entertainer, balloon sculpting, 2009 Show Boy and Girl competition and various other competitions.
